The Comox Valley Regional District’s new water treatment plant was constructed by AECON as a Design-Build
project. Once the plant is complete and commissioned it will comply with the Province of British Columbia’s
water treatment objectives and overall water quality guidelines.
Mequipco Ltd was pleased to support AECON with a number of process equipment packages, including two
(2) UGSI PolyBlend systems for (a) filter aid polymer make-down and (b) SFBW polymer make-down systems.
UGSI also supplied the polymer day tanks and pumping systems.
