The residuals treatment facility (RTF) is a major part of the overall wastewater treatment project for the Capital Regional District (CRD) in Victoria BC. The facility will process 14,000 dry tonnes of residual solids from the new McLoughlin Point WWTP, and produce a dried Class A biosolids using anaerobic digestion process. The dried biosolids are then transported to industrial customers to use as an alternative fuel source
