The City of Lloydminster WWTF upgrade is the first wastewater treatment project in Canada to use the Integrated Project Delivery Method (IPD) to deliver a municipal wastewater treatment facility upgrade in Canada. The process incorporates Suez’s latest MBR technology to meet strict effluent guidelines and future water reuse opportunities. Construction is underway and substantial completion is schedule for December 1st, 2023. Mequipco Ltd. is pleased to be the manufacturers’ representative for the Suez technology as well as other ancillary equipment on this project. The estimated overall project value is $81MM.
Design flows for this upgrade are the following:
- Average Daily Flow: Approx. 20,900 m3/day
- Maximum Daily Flow: Approx. 52,650 m3/day
- Maximum Month Flow: Approx. 30,350 m3/day
