The Hartland Landfill is located in the District of Saanich on Vancouver Island. The new CRD Residuals Treatment Facility is also located at the Hartland site, and was commissioned in 2020. Residual solids from he new McLoughlin Point WWTP are piped to the residuals treatment facility where they are treated and turned into Class A Biosolids. The biosolids are a high quality by-product suitable for beneficial use.
The water storage reservoir which was supplied and installed by Greatario is part of a larger water system upgrade that was required to supply water to the new residuals treatment facility.
